Hunt New Mexico for Trophy Bull Elk in GMU 36 on this 5-day, 1x1 guided Rocky
Mountain Elk hunt for one hunter, provided by Land of Enchantment Trophy Hunts.
This hunt will be Fully Guided in Game Management Unit 36 in New Mexico and is a
guaranteed license (No draw required). The license is a Unit Wide License. This
means that depending on the Winner’s capabilities, etc. you can hunt on public land and
some of the private ranches LOETH has available to hunt in Unit 36.
Meals and Lodging are included with this hunt and the winner will stay at the Land of
Enchantment Trophy Hunts Lodge that is located in the unit. The Hunter can opt in to
camp in a spike camp if they would like but is not a must. The hunt will take place in the
wilderness and requires mostly walking to get to the prime areas to hunt. For hunters
not as capable of too much walking there is easier private land that is a bit more
accessible than the wilderness.

GMU 36 is one of the top elk units in New Mexico!
This unit has resident herds, so migration is not an issue. Hunters can expect to see
bulls between 330”-350” and they do kill bigger bulls every year, some in the 370”-380”
range and they have harvested some 400” bulls in the past.
You will be targeting bulls over 350” a lot on this hunt and of course this will depend on
hunter’s capabilities during their hunt.

Archery 2nd Season – September 15-24, 2024 (any 5 days)
Muzzleloader Season – October 5-9, 2024 (Outfitter has open site muzzleloaders available for
your use if needed)
Rifle Season – October 12-16, 2024
Rifle Season – October 26-30, 2024
Winner may choose to hunt to any one of the qualifying hunt codes for GMU 36.
