GMU 34 is one of the top elk units in New Mexico.
This unit has resident herds, so migration is not an issue. I tell hunters to expect to see bulls between 330”-350” and we do kill bigger.
We will be targeting bulls over 350” a lot of this will depend on hunter’s capabilities.
