No Cost to Enter ONE mount

There after $50 per mount

 

$1.00 deposit for 1st mount entry due at registration, Full $50 for each mount entry after the first entry. ALL NO shows on July 19th and cancellations after July 1, 2019 will be accessed a $250 Cancellation fee, $250 Cancellation Fee will charged to credit card on file per exhibitor agreement on or after July 20th, 2019.

 

Includes: Exclusive entry into drawing for one of four $500 Cabela’s Gift card (only the 100 exhibitors that display their mounts will be entered),  secure location within the show, discounted single or couple ticket for the Saturday evening Gala (limit of one selection per mount at discounted rate)

  1. Only Mule deer Shoulder mounts, and Pedestal mounts will be allowed; no full body mounts or  half body mounts allowed

  2. Mounts may be on a pedestal (Subject to Approval)

  3. Individual mounts on pedestals cannot exceed 1,600 square inches floor space

  4. DSCNM will provide wall for hanging mounts

  5. Exhibitors Must provide the following information; DSCNM will provide an information sheet and display carrier to be placed in front of each mount

    1. Exhibitor Name

    2. Taxidermists Name (optional)

    3. Year Harvested

    4. Hunters Name

    5. State of Harvest

    6. 2 high resolution pictures of Mount (Upon Request), exhibitor gives permission to DSCNM use of said pictures in any and all DSC publications 

  6. Exhibitors are responsible for check-in of mounts between 9:30 am and 6:00pm Friday July 19, 2019

    1. Exhibitors must abide by the schedule provided to them unless other arrangements are made with DSCNM Exhibits manager by July 15, 2019

    2. Exhibitors will be responsible for transporting mounts to & from show floor and aide DSCNM staff in hanging or placing mounts

  7. Exhibitors are responsible for removing mounts

    1. by Sunday July 21st, 2019 12:00pm with the aide of DSCNM staff  

    2. Mounts will not be allowed to be removed prior to end of Gala Saturday July 20th

    3. Exhibitors removing mounts must provide registration form and identification at time of removal

    4. Removal of mounts must be scheduled with DSCNM event manager

  8. DSCNM’ standard exhibitors terms and conditions  apply

    1. Per DSCNM’s terms and conditions Exhibitors will hold harmless DSCNM and any associated affiliates of any damage, theft, loss etc as stated in terms and conditions.    

  9. Entries will be placed as they are entered, and receive a number that will be displayed on their information sheet. Starting with the front and moving back.

  10. DSCNM will provide 24 hour security starting at 2:00pm Friday July 19th thru 12:00pm Sunday July 21st, 2019

  11. Exhibitors are allowed to display signs promoting their taxidermist and to leave brochures and business cards for the public to take at a location designated by DSCNM

  12. Exhibitors or any person associated with exhibitor are PROHIBITED from loitering in the general vicinity of the Mule Deer Display for whatever reason what’s so ever.  

    1. DSCNM at its’s sole discretion may remove from the show Exhibitors or any person associated with exhibitor that observed soliciting ballots from any person attending the show.

    2. Exhibitor and his/her entry will be removed and waives all right to any and all prizes

    3. All Entry fees & deposits paid by Exhibitor will be forfeited if entry is removed per this section, Exhibitor waves any & all rights for any other refunds or compensation

  13. Each attendee will be provided with ONE BALLOT per category for them to place in bins in-front of each entry, Attendees will be required to register at time of entering event and will be provided with ONLY one ballot per category in order to prevent duplication

  14. Only Ballots provided by DSCNM will be counted

  15. Winner is determined solely on the number of ballots in their respective ballot box

  16. In case of ties: placement will be determined by earliest entry date or Blind Draw between qualifying entries, determined by DSCNM Staff

  17. Casting of ballots will close Saturday 4:00pm; DSCNM will count the ballots at this time.

  18. DSCNM board member’s, committee members, DSCNM employees, & Immediate family members  for People’s Choice Trophy Mule Deer Show & DSCNM Gala are not permitted to enter and/or eligible to win any prizes. These individual’s will be allowed to display their mounts but must abide by the same terms and conditions as a DSCNM exhibitor per section 8.a. above.

  19. DSCNM at Its sole discretion may cancel the show for whatever reason that is in the best interest of DSCNM   

    1. In the event of cancellation DSCNM will make a full refund of any entry fees to each registered entry that has paid any amount. Refunds will be made  prior to August 14th, 2019

  20. Winners will be announced prior to live auction at the Saturday night Gala August 4th              

    1. Winners prizes will be mailed via USPS within 60 days of event

  21. Entries will be limited to 100 total mounts

  22. Dallas Safari Club New Mexico (DSCNM) reserves the right to adjust or make changes in booth assignments through July 15, 2019 to ensure an even flow of traffic or to maintain Convention character.

  23. Exhibitor consents to DSCNM's right to prohibit any exhibit, Exhibitor or proposed exhibit that, in DSCNM’s sole opinion, is not suitable for the Convention.   DSCNM may exercise this reserved right at any time prior to or during the Convention. DSCNM reserves the right to prohibit from exhibiting at the Convention any Individual without explanation or reason at the sole discretion of DSCNM.

  24.  DSCNM may remove any Exhibitor from the Convention who, in the sole opinion of DSCNM, (i) breaches any of the provisions of this agreement; (ii) causes a disruption of the Convention by said Exhibitor’s conduct or behavior after receiving a verbal warning against such continued conduct or behavior;(iii) engages in conduct or behavior that endangers the health, safety or well-being of any other Exhibitor, attendee, DSCNM employee, volunteer or Convention vendor or (iv) violates any rules,

  25. If DSCNM exercises its right to prohibit any exhibit, Exhibitor or proposed exhibit, and such right is exercised at least 15 days prior to the then upcoming Convention, DSCNM shall refund to Exhibitor any booth payment made by Exhibitor for said booth or booths at the then upcoming Convention. Exhibitor acknowledges and agrees that Exhibitor is not entitled to any other payment, refund, or damages which may result from, or be caused by, DSCNM’s exercise of said right.

  26. Non-Exhibitor & non DSCNM solicitation is strictly prohibited.

  27. DSCNM will provide limited security in the convention hall from 12:00 pm, Friday July 19th, 2019 through 12:00 pm on Sunday, July 21st, 2019. All exhibits must be removed from the hall no later than 12:00pm, Sunday, July 21st, 2019.  Exhibitor acknowledges and agrees DSCNM is not responsible for theft or loss of Exhibitor’s merchandise, promotional materials, booth materials, or personal property.  Exhibitor is encouraged to acquire appropriate insurance to cover any and all theft or loss, and to take all steps necessary to protect and secure Exhibitor’s merchandise, promotional materials, booth materials and personal property.  All booths must satisfy all City of Albuquerque and Albuquerque Fire Department requirements.

  28. All materials (or decorations) used in the booths must be flame-proofed. Exhibitors using flammable materials must contact the Albuquerque Fire Department and be in compliance with the fire code.

  29. No fund raising activities by Exhibitors including, but not limited to, raffles will be allowed in Exhibitor’s booths or any part of the Albuquerque Convention Center.

  30. Exhibitors or agents shall not injure or deface the ceilings, walls or floors of the building, the booths or the equipment of the booths.  The Exhibitor will be liable if such damages occur.

  31. The application for space and the formal notice of assignments by DSCNM and the full payment of booth space and rental fees constitute a agreement for the right to use the space allotted subject to the terms of section 2 above.  In the event of Acts of God, fire, strikes, rioting, war, acts of terrorism, civil disorders or other circumstances making it impossible to operate the DSCNM exhibit or safely open the convention then, in the sole discretion of DSCNM, with due regard for safety of Exhibitors and visitors, this agreement shall become void. All Exhibitors booth payments will be retained by DSCNM and applied to the following DSCNM convention.

  32. Exhibitor agrees to indemnify and hold DSCNM, its employees, volunteers, officers, directors, agents, and representatives, and its subcontractors harmless by reason of any claim or liabilities imposed by law on account of property damage or bodily injuries, including death, resulting there from, sustained or alleged to be sustained by any person or persons, whether they be members of the public visiting the show, employees of DSCNM, convention volunteers or other Exhibitors, resulting from the negligence of the Exhibitor, it’s agents, employees or persons performing services for it, or resulting from any equipment, machinery or items displayed by the Exhibitor. Additionally, Exhibitor agrees to indemnify and hold harmless DSCNM, and its subcontractors, employees, officers, directors, agents, volunteers, representatives, and all in privity with them, from any and all property damage, loss of business, loss of business opportunity, disruption of business, or lost profits arising from or caused by any condition at the facility, act of God, force of nature or any other events or circumstances, including but not limited to, power outages, telephone outages, Internet wireless outages, floods, water damage or leaks, riots, or acts of terrorism.

  33. Notwithstanding any remedy at law available to the Exhibitor, the Exhibitor hereby expressly releases and waives any and all claims against DSCNM, its agents, officers, directors, members, convention volunteers or employees in consideration of the mutual agreement of the parties and the opportunity of Exhibitor to exhibit at the Convention herein referenced.  DSCNM is not liable for any injury, loss or damage, including consequential or indirect special or punitive damages incurred by Exhibitor or any of Exhibitor’s agents, representatives or employees.

  34. This agreement shall not be assigned, and no rights granted to Exhibitor in this agreement shall be subcontracted without the written consent of DSCNM.

  35. This agreement contains all the agreements of the parties and may only be amended in writing by a separate document duly executed by both parties.  This contract is performable exclusively in Albuquerque, Bernalillo County NM USA

Winner’s stories, pictures will be placed on the DSCNM website as well as an article and pictures may be published in the DSC magazine that is distributed to several thousand DSC members worldwide.

ENTRY CANCELLATION AND DEPOSIT POLICY:

● 100% of amount due is required to reserve each entry.

● $1.00 deposit per 1st mount entry due at registration; ALL NO shows on July 19th and cancellations after July 1, 2019 will be accessed a $250 Cancellation fee, The $250 Cancellation Fee will charged on credit card on file per exhibitor agreement on or after August 5th, 2018
